Gaylord R. "Charlie" Staats

Rochester: Gaylord R. “Charlie” Staats, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2022. He was born January 29, 1970 in Albion to Roy and Linda (Moyer) Staats.

Charlie was always smiling and loved to have a good time. He loved being cared for by his “nurse”, Melayla.

Charlie was predeceased by his father, Roy, sister, Loretta Staats, maternal grandparents, Frank Moyer Sr. and Betty Maurer, paternal grandparents, Rita and Duda Staats.

Charlie is survived by his sons, Hiram, Donald, Dylan, mother, Linda, siblings, Paul Moyer, sisters, Lynn (James) Reamer, Tammy Staats, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held on Saturday, May 28th at 2:00pm at 12780 West County House Road Albion, NY 14411.

Memorial contributions in Charlie’s name may be made to Supportive Care of Orleans , 14080 Route 31 West Albion, NY 14411.

Charlie’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home Albion, NY.
