Joan W. Genet (Winner)

Joan Genet, 87, of Gasport entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late G. Hubert and Julia (Hull) Winner.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard D. Genet.

She is survived by her children: Deb Genet (Beth Tiefel), Richard D. Genet, Jr., Susan (Edward) Soos; grandchildren: Richard D. (Aurora) Genet III, Kristina Genet; great-grandchildren Bradley, Mason, Nevaeh, Ava, and Landyn and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sister of the late Roger Winner, Jane Eckburg, and Joyce Bundrock.

Per Joan’s wishes, there will be no calling hours of funeral service.  A private celebration of Joan’s life will be arranged at a late date by the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  Joan’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St. Gasport.
