Lillian May Knapp (Phelps)

Horseheads:  Former Albion resident, Lillian M. Knapp, 90, died June 16, 2022, with her family by her side.  She was born August 3, 1931 in Brockport to Francis and Grace Phelps.  Lillian owned her own hair salon in Albion for many years.  She loved baking, shopping, and taking care of her family.

Predeceased by her husband, William Lusk.  Survived by her husband Edwin Knapp, sister Claire Graham, children Karen Mager, Robert Lusk, Lenore Fletcher and Ronald Lusk, step-children Deborah Shuler, Becky Hessel and Laurie Bower.  Lillian was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell funeral Homes, 16650 State Route 31, Holley, on Monday June 20, from 2:00-4:00pm followed by her funeral service at 4:00pm.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery on Tuesday at 10:00am.  Memorials may be made to Cleveland Clinic, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195.
