Alice Auman (Baker)

Barre: Alice (Baker) Auman, age 83, passed away with her family at her side on January 7, 2022. She was born April 14, 1938 in Albion, NY to the late Gordon and Dorothy (Dawley) Baker.

Alice loved to cook, garden and crochet and was an active member of the Middleport United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2013.

Alice is survived by her children, Debra (Terry) Crapanzano, Michael L. (Tracy) Cliff, Donna (Robert Williams) Auman, Denise (Jeff) McDonald, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister Daisy Brew, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There are no prior calling hours. Alice’s funeral service will be held at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Thursday, January 13th at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Holley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alice’s name may be made to the Middleport United Methodist Church 9 Park Ave. Middleport, NY 14105 or Supportive Care of Orleans P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411.
