Barbara L. Carr

Obituary of Barbara L. Carr Newfane: Barbara L. Carr, age 90, passed away January 19, 2021. She was born August 12, 1930 in Clearfield, PA to the late Orlando and Sara (Best) Robacker. Barbara liked to spend her time playing games of all types, from cards to board games and BINGO. Her love of games and competitive nature led her to become a championship shuffleboard player, singles and doubles, in Florida. Barbara, most importantly, was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Duane, daughter: Gail Bird, and siblings: Theodore Robacker, Phyllis Wickham, and Marlene Carr. She is survived by her sons: Scott Carr, Mitch Carr, Glenn Carr, and Kevin Carr, her daughter: Linda Carr, ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Services for Barbara will be held privately and at the family’s convenience. Barbara’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, Newfane.
