Obituary of Barbara M. Hinman OBITUARY NOTICE
(ALBION) Barbara M. Hinman, age 88, died 6/26/2017 in Geneva General Hospital following a long illness. She was born 12/15/1928 in Albion to Warren and Genevieve(Goff)Stoney and had been a life-long resident of this area. Barbara was a long-time member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, a Deacon, a member of the Bell Choir and the True Blue Mission Guild. She was a graduate of the Rochester Business Institute and worked as a Dental Assistant in Albion. Barbara very much enjoyed spending time at the cottage at Troutburg. Ms. Hinman was predeceased by her sisters: Margery Knapp and Clarice Lechner-Hyman. She is survived by children: Elaine(Stephen)Hinman-Toomey of Victor, Marc(MaryJo)Hinman of FL, Michael(Donna)Hinman of Utica, special niece and caregiver: Nancy(Ron)Good as well as 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and additional nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Barbara’s Memorial Service SUNDAY 7/2/17 at the Barre Center Presbyterian Church, 4706 Oak Orchard Road, Albion, beginning at 12 Noon. Burial in Mt. Albion Cemetery will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Barre Center Presbyterian Church at the address previously listed.
