Betty Phillips

Holley: Betty Ann (Weader) Phillips. Betty was born February 13, 1931 in PA., a daughter of the late Charles & Annie (Snook) Weader, passed away September 17, 2025 in Hospice at Patrick Place in Scottsville, NY. Betty was predeceased by her husband Hanford (Buzzy) in March 2010, brother and sisters, Mabel, Gladys, Charles, Ira, Arla, John & Ammon.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Duane & Denise, son Norman, grandson Dylan (Caitlyn Davidson) Phillips, great-grandchildren Bryson, Grace, Gabriel Phillips all of Holley, Jake Gehlert of Oakfield, granddaughter Lynn (Nick) Gehlert of Oakfield.

Betty was a member and Deacon of Holley First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Phillips worked for Marine Midland Bank until she retired and belonged to TWIG and a Women's Bowling League. Betty and Buzzy loved Square Dancing and camping with their group of friends. She was an awesome baker and seamstress.

Betty's family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 16650 State Route 31, Holley, NY on Thursday September 25, from 12:00-2:00 followed by her funeral service at 2:00pm Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Immediately following the committal service everyone is invited to the Fancher Hulberton Murray Fire Co. 3353 Hulberton Rd. Fancher, NY 14452
