Bonnie Sue Thompson, age 59, of Lockport, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025.
Bonnie was a proud graduate of Lockport High School, Class of 1983. Following her passion for cooking, she attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Bonnie's love for the culinary arts led her to work the majority of her career at Transit Valley Country Club.
Bonnie was a kind and caring soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a special fondness for happy clowns, building an impressive collection over the years. Known lovingly as "B" to those closest to her, she was inspired to collect bumble bee memorabilia, a fitting reflection of her sweet and vibrant spirit. An avid Buffalo Bills fan, Bonnie never missed cheering on her team. She had a deep love for both babies and dogs, and her generous nature was evident in the way she delighted in treating others to little surprises and thoughtful gestures.
Bonnie is predeceased by her loving father, Kenneth Wilson, and her fiancé, John Spann.
She will be deeply missed by her devoted mother, Sharon (née Edwards) Wilson; her siblings, Barbara (Paul) Kaplan, Michelle Mynatt, Scott (late Lori) Thompson, Kenneth (Kelvey) Wilson, and Cathrine (David) Hardman. Bonnie is also survived by a large and loving extended family, all of whom will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at Clinton Street United Methodist Church, 50 North Adam Street, in Lockport, on Saturday, April 5th, beginning at 10:00AM
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bonnie's memory to a charity close to your heart.
