Kent: Brian D. Dailey, MD, FACEP, FACFE, age 70 passed away on October 27, 2025 at his home. He was born June 30, 1955 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late John and Margaret (Dennison) Dailey.
Brian was a 1977 graduate of Clarkson University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and furthered his education with earning his doctorate in 1981 from the University of Rochester. From 1981-1982 he went to Stonybrook University, specializing in surgery. Brian and his wife Margie moved to Kent and shortly after he began working for Oak Orchard Health, then Rochester General Hospital for 24.5 years as an emergency room physician. March 2, 2009, he along with a partner opened up Urgent Care Now in Webster, NY. More recently, Brian worked as a consultant for NCCOEP, putting his chemical engineering degree to good use.
Brian was a licensed pilot and married his beloved wife Margie at Pine Hill Airport. He was a Reiki Master and believed in the healing energies of crystals. Brian’s favorite places to visit were Iceland when he would attend the “Healing the Healers” conference and Bimini to swim with the dolphins. He was also an avid fly fisherman, fishing in many of the local rivers and streams.
In addition to his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brothers, Kevin, Colin and Sean Dailey.
Brian is survived by his loving wife Margie, sister Claire (late Frank) Angele, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Brian's family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Friday, November 14th from 10:00am to 12:00pm where his funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 15th at 11:00am.
