Carl E. Bauer, age 67 of Telegraph Road, died 5/19/2014 in the VA Medical Center of Canandaigua following a long illness. Carl was born 12/4/1946 in Holley to Royal and Florence(Glick)Bauer and was a lifetime resident of this area.
He was a United States Army Veteran of Vietnam and was life member of the VFW Post 202. Carl loved boating, hunting and especially fishing.
Mr. Bauer was predeceased by 5 brothers Robert, Richard, Larry, Paul and John as well as 2 sisters Shirley and Florence.
He is survived by his daughter: Heather(Damon)Ayette of Webster, his grandchildren: Isabella and Devon as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rt. 31(West Albion Road)-Holley, FRIDAY May 23rd from 12-2 followed by his Funeral Service at 2pm at the Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors in Holy Cross Cemetery. A Special Thank You to the Hospice Nurses at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua for the wonderful treatment you gave Carl.
