Carol Ann Sommer (Herman)

(Mt. Juliet, TN/Gasport, NY)

Carol Ann Sommer, age 79, died November 20, 1943 peacefully in her home in TN.  She was born June 9, 1943 in Lockport to Robert and “Winnie” Herman and had lived in TN since November of 2007.

Carol had a great love for animals and nature and also enjoyed playing card games.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband Michael Sommer of TN, her 3 children: Dennis (Kelly) Sears of Orchard Park, Diane (James) Sears of TX, Steven Kneussle of AL, her brother Richard Herman of Gasport, NY, her sister Joanne of NC, her 4 grandchildren: Desirae, Sadie, Kendra, Kayla as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours and private service and interment in Hartland Central Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
