Charles M. Crego

Charles M. Crego of Lockport, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at home. Born on August 9, 1956, in Lockport, he was the son of the late Aaron and Virginia (Smith) Crego. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War from 1975 – 1978. Charles was a welder at Barry Steel for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, liked rock and roll and comedy.

A dedicated husband and father, Charles and his wife, Cindy Sue Crego passed away the same day. He is survived by his children, Charles A. Crego and Cassandra M. (Paul) Walker; one grandson, Solomon Walker; siblings, Steven Crego, Sue Roman and Ronald Crego and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Dan (Karen) Crego.
