Cheryl R. Delange

Cheryl R. "Cheri" DeLange, 72, of Wilson passed away suddenly on August 1, 2025. Cheri was born on November 3, 1952, in Buffalo, NY to the late Dr. Robert A. and Ruth (Hanrahan) DeLange. She was a graduate of Lockport High School in 1970 and Cazenovia College. Cheri worked at her father's dental office until his death in 1984 as a dental assistant, before enrolling at the Continental School of Beauty for cosmetology. She became a successful hair stylist and worked for local salons including Jen's Golden Comb, Hilites, Synergy, and most recently, Full Circle. She had many co-workers and clients who loved her.

Cheri had a love for shopping, feeling the sunshine, going out to dinner with family and friends, animals of all kinds, and being by the lake. She knew how to have fun and always had a way with words. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her siblings; Dr. Paul S. (Deborah) DeLange of Lockport and Sue (late Donald) Wilson of Titusville, FL; her nieces and nephews; Lindsey Schultz, Eric (Laura) DeLange, Lindsey Wilson, and Bobby Wilson; her great nieces and nephews; Tanner, Graham, Taylor, Charles, Claire, and Luke; her good friend Donald Moeller; and several close friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Robert A. and Ruth DeLange.

Friends may call Thursday, August 7, from 3-6 pm at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Avenue, Lockport, NY, with funeral services at 6:00 pm. Per Cheri's wishes, cremation will follow with burial in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Save-A-Pet of Niagara County or Niagara County SPCA.
