Christopher J. Barr

(Middleport) Christopher J. "Snoop" Barr age 42, passed away April 10, 2026. He was born September 29, 1983 in Medina, a son of Michael and Dorothy (Keirn) Barr, and had lived in this area most of his life.

Chris was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and making people laugh. He will be remembered as a nice guy with a big heart. Most importantly, Chris loved spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Sharon Keirn; grandad Ross Barr and his tutu Amy Bandmann.

In addition to his parents, Michael and Dorothy, he is survived by his brothers Michael K. (Katie) Barr, Matthew S. Barr; sister Sarah Quackenbush (Robert Schaal); grandma Barbara Keirn; niece and nephews Michael J. Barr, Albert K. Barr, Kenley Quackenbush, Blake Barr, Travis and Jade Schaal as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Middleport Fire Department, 28 Main St., Middleport NY, Sunday April 19th 1:00pm-3:00pm where his Memorial Service will follow at 3:00pm. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 6400 Sheridan Dr. #320, Buffalo, NY 14221 or Kids Escaping Drugs, 920 Harlem Rd., West Seneca NY 14224.
