Cynthia H. Piedimonte

(Holley)  Cynthia H. Piedimonte of Holley, NY age 69, passed away peacefully at home on September 21, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.

Cindy was born in Lockport, NY on August 28, 1953, the daughter of the late Jacob and Dorothy (Yaeger) Glassner.  A graduate of Albion Central School, Cindy spent her adult life in Holley, NY.  She was a proprietor of JPs Farm Market and supported the family farm operation for many years.  Cindy was completely dedicated to her daughters and never missed a school event, or soccer game.  She was a mischievous spitfire with a generous soul who loved lounging by her pool, traveling, indulging in scary movies with friends, shopping, playing card and board games, and spending time with her girls and sisters.

Predeceased by brother Daniel Glassner, sister Molly Gardner, father and mother-in-law James (Anita) Piedimonte, and her long-time companion George Burlingame.

Survived by her loving daughters Jessica and Katie Piedimonte, former spouse Dennis Piedimonte, sisters Barbara (James) Berg, Suzy (James) Fraser, Judy (Michael) Langley, Laurie (Elroy) Moffett, Kathy (Dale) Brooks, brother and sister-in-law Tony + Lorraine Piedimonte, Kevin and Anne Piedimonte and Debbie Glassner and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends.  George’s children, Marshall (Aline) Burlingame and Daughter, Linda (Kenton) Works referred to Cindy as “Ma” and remained an integral part of her life after George’s passing.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday September 28th at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church at 10:00am.  Burial will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Holley NY.
