Daniel M. Swift

Daniel M. Swift, 42, of Holley, passed away after a brief illness on January 31, 2022. He was born on March 30, 1979 to the late Michael and Karen (Jennejohn) Swift.

Dan loved to travel, especially to the Adirondacks and to Disney World. He was an avid New York Yankees and Miami Dolphins fan and he loved talking trash with his friends about their teams. Dan loved fantasy football and could spend hours looking at stats and revising his team. He worked for Sam’s Club for a number of years and SUNY Brockport for the past decade.

Dan is survived by his siblings Denise Swift, Jason Swift and Christopher (Chaley) Swift; nieces and nephews Richard, Jared and James Swift and Joel and Jenna Ferrigno; aunts and uncles Kevin Jennejohn, Janet (Terry) Carey, Sheila (Don) Cox, Orville (Bernadette) Swift, Elmer Swift and Debby Swift; as well as many cousins and his spoiled dog, Cooper.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 16650 State Route 31, Holley, NY 14470, on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00-3:00pm. Guests will be required to wear face masks when entering the funeral home.

A private service will take place at the convenience of the family.
