David J. Roe

Holley: David J. Roe, 24, passed away 5/16/2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital following a very short illness. David was born in Brockport April 23, 2002 a son of Daniel (Mia) Roe and Brandylynn Lutz. David was a 2020 graduate of Holley High School. After graduation, David enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany and South Korea. Upon his Honorable discharge from the Army, David was continuing his education to become a Park Ranger. David had a great love for being outside and enjoyed fishing or working on his Chevy pick up truck. His greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

David was predeceased by his grandmother Virginia Roe and uncle Adam Roe.

He is survived by his parents Daniel (Mia) Roe and Brandylynn Lutz; brothers Daniel Jr. and Cayden Lutz; grandparents Robin Vieira, Scott (Ann) Vieira, David Roe, James (Kelly) Lutz; aunt Amy (Ron) Brigham; uncle Jacob Lutz and several cousins and numerous friends.

David’s family will receive friends Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 16650 State Route 31, Holley on Thursday May 21, from 3:00-5:00 followed by his funeral service and military honors at the funeral home.
