Dawn Marie Corney

(Appleton) Dawn Marie Corney age 90, passed away Sunday October 8, 2023 at Mt. Saint Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 6, 1933 in Lockport, a daughter of the late William and Leona (Fredricks) Johnson.
Dawn enjoyed going to church, reading, crocheting and sewing. She made many of her own dresses. She worked for many years at Lockport Savings Bank, but really enjoyed housecleaning and helping care for many of her friends.

In addition to her parents, Dawn was predeceased by her husband Lamont.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Corney; her son Paul (Shelly) Corney; granddaughters Sarah (Adam), Maggie (Alex), Brittiny (Anthony), Olivia (Austin) and Vicky; her sister Ann (George) Merrill; niece Leila; nephews Mike and Shane.

Her Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Glenwood Cemetery in Lockport. Memorials may be made to the organization of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home in Gasport.
