Diane Lynn Foss

Diane L. Foss, 71, of Albion, passed away on February 2, 2026 at Unity Hospital in Rochester.

She was born April 12, 1954 in Chambersburg, PA, the daughter of the late James and Marjorie Miller. Diane graduated from Susquehanna High School in PA. and then married, Michael J. Foss on April 10, 1976 and have been married for nearly 50 years.

Diane worked as a Medical Transcriber for Rochester General Hospital for several years. She enjoyed reading books in her leisure time as well as crocheting, most notably, her handmade baby blankets.

Mrs. Foss was predeceased by her parents, James and Marjorie Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; 4 sons, William (Danielle) Foss, Stephen (Krystal) Foss, Craig (Karen) Foss and Kevin Foss; grandchildren, Josiah, Jillian, Israel, Harley, Logan, Kendall, Chloe and Lillian Bentley; sisters, Carol Helman, Sharon (Paul) Kelly and Susan (Derek) Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on FRIDAY February 6th from 5-7 PM at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 W. Ave., Albion. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service SATURDAY February 7th day at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 2924 S Union St, Rochester, NY 14624 beginning at 11am with interment immediately following at Mt. Albion Cemetery.
