Donald Mellott
December 11, 1944 — August 31, 2023
Amherst: Donald Mellott, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2023. He was born December 11, 1944 to the late Eugene and Marie (Herbert) Mellott.
Donald was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam Conflict, receiving an honorable discharge. He worked for many years for the railroad before he retired.
He is survived by many cousins and friends.
Interment with military honors will be held at Western New York National Cemetery on Friday, September 29th at 2:00pm.
Don's arrangements have been entrusted to the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home of Gasport, NY.
