Donald L. Pittman, age 87, of Albion, NY, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on February 11, 1938, Donald lived a long and meaningful life defined by kindness, integrity, and quiet strength.
He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Diane Pittman, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage — a true testament to love and partnership. Together, they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and enduring faith.
Donald was a proud and loving father to Donald (Patricia) Pittman Jr, Darrel Pittman, Dean (Roxanne) Pittman, and Beth-Anne Turner. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Donald Pittman III, Arthur (Christine) Pittman, who predeceased him, Christine (Matthew) Ballard, Dean Pittman Jr., Courtney Angielczyk. Joshua Angielczyk, and Jordan Turner, and as a great-grandfather to Megan Pittman, Arthur David Pittman Jr., Damian Pittman, Justice Pittman, Prince Xavier Pittman, and Warren Upergergraf. He was also blessed to welcome a great-great-grandson, Onyx Cole Pittman, into the family.
Donald found joy in life’s simple pleasures — his lifelong love of General Motors and classic cars, the companionship of his dogs, and the thrill of discovering antiques. His family and friends will remember him for his generous spirit, steady wisdom, and the deep, unconditional love he shared with everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, integrity, and devotion that will continue to live on in all who loved him.
A private service will be held at Holy Family Church, with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
