Donald E. Seever

(Barre Center) Donald E. Seever age 77, passed away August 23, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born February 15, 1948, in Brockport, a son of the late William and Clara (Sanderson) Seever and had lived in this area since 1982.

Don was a member of the Albion First Methodist Church. He retired from General Motors in Rochester where he worked for many years. He loved animals, especially his dog Gloria Jean and cat Isaiah. Don enjoyed flowers and gardening, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Rodney and Ronald; mother of his children Judy Seever.

He is survived by his daughters Tiffany (Steven) Crawford, Breeana (Fiancé Barb Casavant) Seever; grandchildren Hailey, Lindsay, Kelsey; siblings Dale, Pat, Sandy, Jan, Debbie, Tammy, Wayne, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His Memorial Service will be Thursday August 28th at 1:00pm at the Gaines Carlton Community Church, 14585 Ridge Rd W, Albion, NY 14411. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas PlaceMemphis, TN 38105 or Special Olympics New York, 1 Grove St #216, Pittsford, NY 14534. Arrangements were entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Albion.
