Dorothy Jackson, age 97, died March 7, 2026 in United Memorial Medical Center.
She was born October 3, 1928 in Georgia to John and Laura Brown and had lived in this area since the 1950's.
Dorothy worked at fisher Price for many years and retired in 1989. She also had worked at Hunt Foods. Dorothy was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and among her favorite things to do in her spare time were cooking and sewing. Ms. Jackson was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours or services per her wishes and burial will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Dorothy's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
