Obituary of Dorothy M. Murray Albion: Dorothy M. Murray, age 88, passed away on July 6, 2021. She was born March 24, 1933 in Basom, NY to the late Raymond and Hazel (Ackerson) Quible. Dorothy always enjoyed putting on a meal for every holiday, especially Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also held picnics on Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Labor Day, always bringing family and friends together. She spent time quilting, knitting, and basket weaving. Dorothy loved her family dearly and they were all so special to her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George on August 8, 2011. Dorothy is survived by her children, Albert (Debbie) Krause, Kathryn (Robert) Smith, grandchildren, Rachel (Brad) Stever, Christy (Christopher) Kron, Jennifer (Jeremy) McClellan, Chad (Nichole) Smith, 14 great-grandchildren, and sister, Florence. There are no prior calling hours. A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Saturday, July 10th at 11:00am at the Mt. Albion Cemetery (Please enter West gate, take a right at first intersection and look for blue tent). In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dorothy’s name may be made to the Gaines Carlton Community Church 14585 Ridge Rd. Albion, NY 14411.
