Douglas A. Sitzer

Albion: Douglas A. Sitzer, Sr., age 63, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2022. He was born February 28, 1959 in Albion to the late John and Betty (Wright) Sitzer.

Doug always said “I love you more than you love me” to his wife and kids, something that they always said in return also. He was a great person to many people and will be missed dearly.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brothers, John and Mike Sitzer, David Thomas, son-in-law, Scott Allen and daughter-in-law, Amber Sitzer.

Doug is survived by his wife Sandy, children, Richard Luxon, Charles (Bridget) Bennett, Douglas Sitzer, Jr., Dawn Sitzer, mother, Betty Sitzer, several siblings, grandchildren, Emilie Sitzer, Lucian Allen, Douglas Sitzer III, Scott Allen, Brayden Sitzer, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Doug’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home Albion, NY.
