Medina: Earl Keith Brooks, age 98, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026 at the Niagara Hospice House. He was born September 26, 1927 in Albion, NY to the late F. Merl Brooks and May Densmore Brooks and grew up in the Eagle Harbor area.
Keith was a proud WWII veteran, serving in the US Navy. He was in the Pacific theater serving in Guam and also the Philippines. After his service, he worked for 38 years at Harrison Radiator before retiring in 1988. He was a long time active member of the Middleport United Methodist Church and also the Clute-Phillips Post 938 for over 70 years. He proudly attended all of his children's, grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sporting events. Keith also volunteered at Medina Hospital and Tritown Ambulance. His family meant the world to him and he was their hero.
Keith married Jane Maloney on May 30, 1950 and they had five daughters and one son.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Jane, brothers, Pete, Byron, Avery, Bob, Harold and Dean Brooks, sister Ruth Hutchins, son-in-law Daniel Guild, and granddaughter Arica Clear.
Keith is survived by his children, Denise (Michael) Tarabas, Deborah Guild, Diane (Ronald) Steel, Janet Brooks, Laurie (Daniel IV) Cleary, Stephen (Kathy) Brooks, 19 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
There are no prior calling hours. A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at 11:00am at the Middleport United Methodist Church 9 Park Ave. Middleport, NY 14105 with a luncheon to follow the service. Interment with military honors will be held at a later date at Mt. Albion Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Keith's name may be made to the church or Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.
Keith's arrangements have been entrusted to the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home of Middleport, NY.
