Earl E. Sturtevant Jr.

Earl E. Sturtevant, Jr., age 99 passed away May 11, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born, May 28,1926, in Bradford PA, a son of the late Earl E. Sturtevant Sr. and Mabel (Tompkins) Sturtevant.

Earl attended Franklinville School then joined the Army, serving from 1944-1946. He married Onalee L. (Powell) July 2, 1949 and raised 4 children. He worked at Frontier Stone Products, retiring after 32 years.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Onalee, son Timothy, and 8 siblings Jim, Stan, Ted, Stella, Donna, Vivian, Lassie and Ruth

He is survived by his children Bonnie Seelbinder, Brenda Sturtevant, Terry (Debbie) Sturtevant; grandchildren Ryan (Beth) Sturtevant, Holly (Jim) Klatt, Matt (Maria) Sturtevant, step grandchildren Ron Seelbinder, Chris (Denise) Seelbinder; great grand children Gabby Arnold, Lacey Kenward, Amelia, Alexandra, Caitlin Klatt, Cecelia, and Catalina Sturtevant; step siblings Carlos (Raffi) and Stephen (Karen) Runng. as well as many nieces and nephews.

There are no prior calling hours. His Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family at the Western New York National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 NY-31, Albion NY 14411 or P.A.W.S, 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion NY 14411. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Albion.
