Edward G. Walczak Sr.

Albion: Edward G. Walczak Sr. 76, died Aug 1, 2026 at United Memorial Medical Center after a short illness. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Elizabeth (Daniel) Clark and Henry Walczak and moved to the Elba area. It was then he met his future wife Christine Sills and they would live and raise their family in Albion. He worked part time at Darien Lake as a Security guard and full time at Owens-Illinois in Brockport, where he retired. From there he went on to work for the Village of Albion Dept of Public Works until his final retirement. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old movies and his Grandchildren. He was a 55 year member of the Albion Fire department and belonged to the Albion Sportsman's Club. He was a past member of the Orleans County Sheriff's Auxiliary and Orleans County Sherriff Motorcycle Patrol.

Mr. Walczak was predeceased by his Grandson Brandon Parker and his Brother Theodore Walczak.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Christine; two children, Barbara Parker of Albion and Edward (Crysta) Walczak Jr, of Medina; three grandchildren, Taylor (Dalton Wilkins) Walczak, of Albion, Hunter Walczak of Medina and Zack Parker of Albion; brother, William Walczak of FL, sisters, Pamela Bihl of Holley and Ellen (Russ) Marling of Albion; sister-in-law, Deborah Walczak of Rochester; brother-in-law, William (Brenda) Sills of Medina; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no prior calling. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Ed's name may be made to PAWS Animal Shelter 3371 Gaines Basin RD. Albion, NY 14411.
