Myrtle Beach, SC: Elizabeth Ann Heller, age 86, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024. She was born December 12, 1937 in Albion to the late Herman and Eleanor *Butler) Neuremburg.
Elizabeth was a class of 1955 graduate of Albion High School before she would further her education at Nazareth College and SUNY Brockport. She worked for the Lockport City School District until 1992 when she retired. Ann as she was known was an active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Garden City, SC, St. Patrick's Church-All Saints Parish as well as St. Joseph's Church in Albion. She was a former member of Lockport Education Association and the Lockport College Club.
Ann was an avid story teller and loved to reminisce about the old days in Lockport and Albion. She moved to Myrtle Beach in 1997 and was a partner in Decorating Den with Annette Pencille. She was also very fond of animals, owning several cats and dogs throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her husband E. William Heller whom she married on June 23, 1962 at St. Joseph's Church.
She is survived by friends, Joseph Bendel, Barbara Kleinhans, Sara Kenney, Mary Kay Toal, Bernadette Schultz, Casey Oliphant, Mike Ward, Nick and Coleen Cappola, nieces, Lillian Farris, Catherine Finke, Deborah Bass, and Susan Nolte.
A time of calling for Ann will be held at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Friday, September 20th from 10:30-11:30. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church W. Park St. Albion on Friday at 12:00pm. Interment will be held following Mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Albion.
Memorial contributions in Ann's name may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
