Albion/Point Breeze: Faye A. Woods (nee Faulring) 

Beloved wife of the late Leo E. Woods.

Faye and Leo spent their summers at their home in Kent, NY and winters in Zephyrhills, FL. They loved being in Florida with the warmer weather.

Faye was a member of the Oak Orchard Lighthouse Museum and Oak Orchard Neighborhood Assoc. (OONA). She dedicated her time volunteering for their many special events. While in Florida she volunteered at Advent Health Hospital.

Faye began her accounting career with Bethlehem Steel, Lackawanna in 1966. In 1982 she was transferred to the corporate office in Bethlehem, PA as Supervisor of Accounts Payable. She retired in 2000 after 33 years with the company.

Faye is predeceased by her sister Thelma Faulring, brother-in-law Lee Heusinger, and nephew Corey Cranston.

She is survived by her sisters Susan Heusinger, Sandra (Mark) Salzler, nieces & nephews, David (Cheri) Cranston, Tom Cranston, Kara Farris, Molly Heusinger and Eric (Darryl) Heusinger.

A service to celebrate Faye’s life will be held in the spring in Boston, NY.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, PO Box 26, Colden, NY 14033.

Faye’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411.
