Obituary of Frederick A. Banach Frederick "Fred" A. Banach
3/5/41 – 7/21/2017 Entered peacefully into rest on July 21, 2017. Fred was the son of the late Anthony and Helen Banach. Beloved husband of Ellen Banach and loving father of Lawrence (Ingrid), Christopher (Kristen), Thomas (Marie) Banach, Sandra (Robert Jr.) Williams, Karen Williams, Mary Beth Banach, and the late Andrew Banach. Brother of Rose Tong, Mary (Donald) Myhill, and Gail Rossow. Grandfather of 11, and great-grandfather of 6. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Fred was a founding member, past chief, and treasurer of the Hartland Volunteer Fire Department. He served in the US Navy from 1959- 1963 on the USS Forrestal. He retired from Harrison Radiator in 1998 after 30 years of service. Fred was most generous with his time when friends and family needed him for his expertise and knowledge. When anything needed to be fixed he was the one to be called. One of his favorite sayings was: "Pay attention… there is going to be a test later!"
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017 at 9:30 AM, at St. Stephens Church (Holy Trinity Parish) 19 Vernon Street, Middleport, NY 14105.
