Garfield G. "Garry" Oakley

Garfield G. “Garry” Oakley, passed away at the home that he loved on May 9, 2026.

He leaves behind his wife and partner, Lorraine; children, David (Cherise) Oakley and Jennifer (Robert) Stilwell; 6 grandchildren, Robbie, David, Michael and Clara Stilwell, Raine and Anna Oakley, all of whom he was so very proud of; loving sisters, Darlene and Patti; and many nieces and nephews.

Garry was a private person who lived life his way, often offering advice and guidance, even when not asked for. He will be lovingly remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, friend, businessman, florist, hunter, builder, traveler, fisherman, woodsman, pilot, scuba diver and sailor who conquered the Atlantic Ocean twice.

The family celebrates a life well lived and in lieu of traditional services, has chosen to hold a private remembrance. “A life worth living leaves trails worth following.”
