Barker: Gary L. “Puncho” Sandolfini, 71 passed away June 10, 2023, to be reunited with his loving wife Aleta.

Gary was born January 4, 1952 in Indiana, PA., the son of Arnold and Gladys (Long) Sandolfini Sr. On July 8, 1972, Gary married his High School sweetheart Aleta. Gary was an avid NY Yankees fan and was well known for his talent playing baseball. At one time he was even scouted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a former employee of Fisher Price in Medina and A.E.S. Power Plant in Somerset. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, classic cars, motorcycles and attending car shows. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and sitting in the barn with his dog Harley.

Gary is survived by his children, Shannon (Shawn) Wilson, Chastity (Thomas) Heschke, Brandon Sandolfini, Gina (fiance’Mark McKee) Sandolfini; grandchildren, Colton and Connor Wilson, Austin, Justin and Madalynn Heschke, Maicie Baker, Gabrielle (Rhett) Wagner and Jarrett Baker; great-grandson, Leeland Wagner; his mother, Gladys; siblings, Robert (Ava) Sandolfini, Robin (Greg) Bisher and Rick (Laura) Sandolfini; sister-in-law, Cindia (Arnie Jr., deceased) Sandolfini and several loving nieces and nephews.

Gary was predeceased by his loving wife Aleta and father Arnold Sr.

Services and interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094 or the Barker Fire Department 1660 Quaker Rd. Barker, NY 14012.

Gary’s arrangements have been entrusted to Sherrie Bream funeral Home 4521 main St. Gasport, NY 14067.
