Geneva G. Moore

(Albion) Geneva G. Moore age 84 passed away October 19, 2026 a daughter of the late Marshall and Flora (McCune) Wooten. Geneva was born in St. Albans, West Virginia, and was one of eighteen children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arnold Moore, and her daughter, Barbara Hoffmeister. She is survived by her son, Greg (Ruth Hurysz) Moore; granddaughter, Emily Hoffmeister; grandson, Brandon (Stephanie) Hoffmeister; and eight great-grandchildren: Teddy, Thora, Anaiya, Amare, Rilynne, Jailyn, Nicholas, and Alexander. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Wooten, and brother, Clifford Wooten.

Geneva Geraldine Moore was a retiree of Rochester Products and a longtime member of Albion Free Methodist Church. She found joy in gardening, spending time with her beloved grandchildren, and caring for others. Throughout her life, she was a caretaker to all, always putting others before herself and offering love, kindness, and support to anyone who needed it. Caring for others wasn’t just something she did; it was who she was, and that loving spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

The family will receive friends at the Albion Free Methodist Church, 25 S. Platt St. Albion, on Monday October 26th 4:00pm-7:00pm where her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 27th at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Albion.
