Gerald J. "Jerry" Canale, Jr. passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025 following a brief illness. He was born November 6, 1961 in Albion, a son of the late Gerald Sr. and Laurene (Ruef) Canale.
Gerald lived all his life in Albion and attended the Albion Schools. He loved sports, especially the NY Jets. Gerald was a "whiz" at Jeopardy and was always up to watch an old movie. He found joy in helping neighbors with doing outdoor chores. Gerald will be remembered as a kind-hearted guy who kept to himself. Mr. Canale was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his siblings: Joseph (Linda Jo) Canale, Nancy (Robert) Brown, David Canale, Mary Kay (David) Vagg, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special cousin and friend: Kevin Whittier.
There will be no calling hours and a private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Gerald's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
