Geraldine L. Sink

January 21, 1935 — March 28, 2024

Hartland: Geraldine L. Sink, 89, passed away at her home on March 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Geraldine was born in Buffalo January 21, 1935, a daughter of the late John and Linda (Lang) Hetzinger. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gasport. Geraldine graduated from N.C.C.C . in 1976 with her degree in Nursing and went on to work at Lockport Memorial Hospital from 1973-1986. Geraldine enjoyed family-oriented games and events along with country music and western TV shows and religious services on TV.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband Raymond C. Sink, son, William C. Sink, daughter Jo Ann Standley, brother John Hetzinger and sister Norma Deragon.

Geraldine is survived by her children Katherine (Russell) Pierce of Appleton, Thomas (Deanna) Sink of SC., John (Amy) Sink of Holley and Jennifer (Victor) Buchalski of Hartland; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; best friend Isabel “Izzy” Grummons of TX., brother Kenneth Hetzinger, several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church 4447 Central Ave, Gasport, NY 14067 or Inspiration Ministries at inspiration.org.
