Ionis M. Kovach

(Attica) Ionis M. Kovach, age 64, passed away July 14, 2026 at United Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born August 15, 1961 in Medina, a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth June (Goodwin) Davis.

Ionis enjoyed playing bingo and riding her motorcycle. She loved Elvis and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her favorite niece Crystal, as well as her other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Violet Ann Davis and her brother James Goodwin.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Randy; daughter Jennifer (John) Volpe; son George Edward Kovach; grandchildren Kassy, Christopher, Marie, Destiny, Jonathen; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Steve (Diane) Davis, Kenny (Jackie) Davis; sister Laurie Davis; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd, Ste 110, Rochester, NY 14618. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Albion.
