(Albion) Jack C. Tomasino, passed away September 28, 2024 at the NYS Veterans Nursing Home. He was born November 27, 1927 in Albion, a son of the late Frank and Florence (Shortino) Tomasino and had lived in this area all of his life.
Jack served in the US Army in the Occupation Forces in Japan. He was a member of the Albion Sheret Post #35 American Legion and the Albion Elks Lodge B.P.O.E #1006. Jack worked as a Sales Manager at Nesbitt Motors and after, worked as a salesman at Moore Nesbitt’s retiring August 1, 1995, and after delivered parts for Arnold’s Auto Parts in Albion. He was an avid reader, NY Yankees fan and Buffalo Bills fan.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Joseph; sister Josephine (Nicholas) Tiberio.
He is survived by his wife of 65 Years, Loretta; sons Mark (Jane) Tomasino, Lynn (Susan) Tomasino; grandchildren Michael (Samantha) Tomasino, Matthew Tomasino; great-grandchildren Joelle, Zayden, Sophia; sister-in-law Rita Tomasino; nieces Donna, Carolyn, Tina; nephew Dominic as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 W. Ave. Albion, Thursday October 3rd 2:00pm-4:00pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be private at Holy Family Parish. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish or the charity of one’s choice.
