Jacqueline A. Acome

(Middleport) Jacqueline A. “Jackie” Acome, age 81 passed away May 18, 2025; which was her mother’s birthday, also the same day that her father passed away and 2 days and 2 years after her husbands’ death. She was born August 4, 1943, in Baltimore Maryland, a daughter of the late Robert and Thelma Hagan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Carl “Sam” Acome; daughter Kimberly Acome; sister Jeannie Gates; brother Michael Hagan.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy (Mike) Gehl, Karen Acome; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Patrick (Becky) Hagan, Esther (Daniel) Ng, Tim (Patty) Hagan as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her Memorial Mass will be held at a date and time to be announced. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport NY 14094. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, Middleport.
