Janice R. Holbrook

Rochester: Janice R. Holbrook, age 88, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026 under hospice care at Medina Memorial Hospital. She was born January 24, 1938 in Rochester to the late Warren and Jane (Simmons) Mack.

Janice retired from U of R Dermatology.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Charles W. Hallings, second husband Albert Holbrook, son-in-law, Blaine Rupprecht, brothers-in-law Bob Knittel and Tom Sims.

Janice is survived by her children William Hallings, Melissa Rupprecht, Tammy (Mike) Hunter, Stacie (Jim) Bridge, Stephen (Jennifer) Holbrook, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters Carole Sims, Darlene Knittel, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no prior calling hours. A memorial service to celebrate Janice's life will be held on Tuesday, July 21st at 1:00pm at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411.
