Obituary of Jean E. Bentley (ALBION/BARRE)
Jean E. Bentley, age 89, formerly of Clover Hill Adult Residence, died 10/1/2016 in The Villages of Orleans following a long illness. She was born 3/2/1927 in Elba to Ward and Bea Howland and was a life-long resident of this area. Jean enjoyed golfing, horseback riding and travelling. Mrs. Bentley was predeceased by her husband Gerald and her brother: Amsden “Ace” Howland. She is survived by her sons: Douglas(Linda)Bentley of Albion, David(Gail Grigg)Bentley of Kendall, 4 grandchildren: Tom Bentley, Jerry(Terry)Bentley, Kevin(Jane)Bentley, Laura(John Olinger)Bentley, 8 great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alexis, Thomas, Max, Brian, Kara, Owen, Elle and a close friend: Robert McGee of Canada. Family friends are invited to attend Jean’s Memorial Service at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, TUESDAY at 4 p.m. Private interment at the convenience of the family in Maple Lawn Cemetery-Elba. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Barre Fire Company.
