Jeffrey A. Eick

(Middleport) Jeffrey A. Eick age, 73, passed away August 8, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born July 21, 1953, in Medina, a son of the late Raymond Norman and Doris Mae (VanBuren) Eick.

Jeff owned and operated Eick Farm with his wife Kathy until 1995 and after, worked at ADESA Auction in Akron for 11 years and then finishing his career at Baxter in Medina retiring at the age of 66. After his retirement, Jeff couldn't sit still and helped out on his son's farm. He enjoyed spending recent winters in Florida, buying and selling bicycles and traveling. Jeff loved being outdoors, tending to his vegetable garden, cutting wood, riding his John Deere or watching the birds. He even built numerous bird houses that scatter his property. Most of all, Jeff was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, attending their activities, from Equestrian shows, 4-H, soccer, baseball and dance.

He is survived by his wife of 48years, Kathy; his children Ryan J. (Felicia) Eick, Amanda (Nathaniel) Bedford, Eric (Jaci) Eick; grandchildren Alexis, Coraline, Wyatt Bedford, Jace, Camryn, Arya Eick; siblings Sharon (Cliff) Gibson, Douglas (Sue) Eick, Diane (Roger) Dutcher, Debra Eick as well as an uncle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Royalton-Hartland FFA Chapter and Agriculture Department, 54 State Street, Middleport, NY, United States, 14105 or plant a tree in his name. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, Middleport.
