John H. Hall

(Knowlesville) John H. Hall, age 79, passed away April 10, 2026, at Orchard Manor Nursing home following a long illness. He was born May 30, 1946, in Albion, NY to the late Irving and Helen (Bandemer) Hall.

John worked for many years as a tool & die maker for Delphi in Lockport and Doehler-Jarvis in Batavia. He enjoyed tinkering on his tractors, hunting, fishing and going hiking at the Iroquois Wildlife Refuge. John enjoyed outdoor decorating for every holiday, especially Christmas.

John is survived by his wife Mary Ann, five daughters, Margaret (Gary) Roberts, Beth Hall, Wendy (Robert) Scharlau, Amy Hall, Katherine (Nate) Dauphinais, sister, Janet (Darrell) Smith, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

No prior services. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Iroquois Wildlife Refuge, 1101 Casey Road, Basom, NY14013-9730. Arrangements were entrusted to Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, Middleport.
