Kathie Jo Stirk

Kathie Jo Stirk, 76, of Albion was called home on January 2, 2026. Kathie was born to Donald Stirk and Jean MacGowan Stirk on March 3,1949 and lived in Albion for most of her life. 

Kathie graduated from Albion High School in 1967, and attended nursing school at Genesee Community College. She worked as a registered nurse at Rochester General Hospital System for many years where she met lifelong friends. 

Kathie was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence (Rebecca) Stirk. 

Kathie is survived by her daughter, Julie (Mark) Piascik of Weedsport, NY and her son, Morgan (Lindsey DeZarn) Stirk of Albion, NY. Additionally, Kathie is survived by the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Kelly Piascik, Ava Jurs, Adysyn Stirk and Brody Stirk.

A memorial service and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. 

Arrangements are in the care of Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 West Ave., Albion, New York, 14411. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to P.A.W.S., 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion, New York, 14411.
