Kelly Ferree

Kelly L. Ferree, age 55, died June 8, 2025 in her home surrounded by her family and while under care of Niagara Hospice. She was born July 26, 1969 in Newfane to William and Ruth Kennedy and was a life-long resident of this area.

Kelly was a graduate of Barker High School, was a member of The Solid Rock Church in Gasport, and had worked at the Barker Crosby’s for over 30 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, carrying on engaging conversations, music and keeping things immaculately clean. However, she enjoyed the relationship with her family the most and had an unbreakable and loving relationship with her son.

She is survived by her husband of almost 31 years Charles “Chuck”, her son: Charles (Andrea Valin) Ferree of Amherst, her mother: Ruth Kennedy of Barker, her brother: John (Theresa) Skomski of Canandaigua, her sisters: Sherry (Robert) McKenna of Barker, Robin Odell of Barker, Dianne (Duane) Andrews of Middleport, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Kelly’s life will be held at a later date in the Solid Rock Church and will be announced by the family.
