Larry G. Gallipeau

Albion: Larry G. Gallipeau, age 81, passed away on June 22, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born February 14, 1944 in Wayland NY to Arthur and Pauline (Rex) Gallipeau.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet, and trap shooting. He enjoyed family very much. He worked as a dock worker and truck driver until retirement for Starkweather Freight in Albion.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy in 2023.

Larry is survived by his sons Richard Gallipeau and David (Anne Slattery) Gallipeau; his grandchildren Mark (Tiffany) Gallipeau, Brandon Gallipeau, Olivia Gallipeau, Molly Gallipeau; his great-grandchildren Mason and Jayce.

His Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Memorials in Larry’s name may be made to Adult Palliative Care at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Larry’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion, NY.
