Lawrence P. Neibert

(Mercer PA/Albion) Lawrence P. "Larry" Neibert, age 64, passed away at his home following a long illness. He was born July 18, 1962, in Poughkeepsie NY, a son of the late Paul (Patty) Neibert and Patricia (Stephens) Noon.

Larry enjoyed snowmobiling, boating and 4-wheeling, fishing and playing solitaire on his phone. He was a past member of the Carlton Snow Drifters, Albion Rod and Gun Club, Carlton Fire Department and the Orleans County Sherriff's Department Police Auxiliary. Larry graduated from Albion High School in 1980 and then completed the Machine Tool Technology at RIT. He worked for the NYS Canal Corporation in Albion for 24 years as an Electrical Supervisor, retiring in 2017.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law Richard N. Janus and his father-in-law Richard V. Janus.

Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol; his son David Neibert; his daughter Ashley (Jared) Dunlap; grandchildren Sophia and Olivia; mother-in-law Josephine Janus; step-father Tom Noon; sister Lori (Tom) Laine as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 West Ave. Albion, Monday July 27th 3:00pm-6:00pm where his Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am. Burial will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Grove City Pet Rescue, 300 Oak St, Grove City, PA 16127 or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd Staten Island, NY 10306.
