Lee Edward Woolston Jr.

(Albion) Lee E. "Charlie" Woolston, Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully February 21, 2026 at his home. He was born August 5, 1963, in Albion, a son of the late Lee, Sr. and Margaret (Rytlewski) Woolston and had lived in this area all of his life.

Charlie graduated from Albion High School in 1981. He was a self employed roofer and was a lifetime member of the Carlton Fire Co. He enjoyed cooking chicken, weather it was for the fire department or for any occasion and enjoyed hanging with his friends, Tommy, Jim, Doug and Mark. But most importantly, he loved spending time with his sons Kyle and Bobby, who were the world to him.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Robert Joseph "Bobby" Woolston and his brother Alan Todd Woolston.

Charlie is survived by his son Kyle Woolston; siblings Anne (Jim) Kelly, John (Kathy) Woolston, Diane (Kelly) Conrad; nieces and nephews Brian Kelly, Christine (Ryan) Bucklin, Brad (Jami) Woolston, Alex Woolston, Godson Dan Conrad, Casey (Darnell Coley) Conrad; great-nieces and great-nephews Emily Bucklin, Carter, Brayden, Nathan Woolston, Ryleigh and Carter Conrad, Daelonte, Nathalia and Eleana Coley as well as many friends and cousins.

His Celebration of Life will be held at the Carlton Rec. Hall, 1853 Oak Orchard Rd, Albion, NY 14411 at a date and time to be announced. Memorials may be made to the Carlton Fire Co. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home Albion.
