Louise Mae Welch

(Albion) Louise M. Welch age 88 passed away August 21, 2023 at her son-in-law’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 23, 1935, in Brighton NY, a daughter of the late Jay and Mildred (Gouger) Crouse. Louise lived in the area until 1988, when she moved to Florida and returned home in 2012.

Louise enjoyed bingo, volunteering at Hospice of Orleans and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Norman F. Mattice, Sr., her second husband Howard L. Welch and her daughter Patti Daniels.

She is survived by her sons Norman (Shelby) Mattice, Jr., Timothy (Ann) Mattice, Michael (Betty) Mattice, Daniel (Charlotte) Mattice, Scott (Maureen) Mattice; special son-in-law Danny J. Daniels; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There are no prior calling hours. Her Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Albion Cemetery Friday August 25th at 1:00pm.  Grave location is Ashwood Way. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 Rte. 31 Albion NY 14411. Arrangements were entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Albion.
