Madeline A. (Downey) Drabkowski

Holley:  Madeline A. Drabkowski, 87, passed away March 13, 2022.  Madeline was born September 12, 1934 in Hornell, NY a daughter of the late Placidus and Ida (Lehman) Monn.  Madeline was a Health Kinesiologist in Middletown, NY for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Madeline also enjoyed a glass of wine with chocolate and for the past 35 years, spending time in Mexico with her family.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Franklin G. Downey and Alexander Drabkowski, sister, Marie (Walter) Hermann.

Madeline is survived by her children Frank (Maxine) Downey Jr., Diane (Stanley) Ells, Thomas (Rose) Downey, Sandra (Douglas) Morse, Bonny (Stephen) Hahn, Terry Downey and Susan (John) Day; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Per Madeline’s request, there will be no calling hours or service.  A Celebration of Madeline’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.  A memorial contribution in Madeline’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
